SK Domain Backorder

SK Domain Backorder is a product that offers one of the ways to acquire an SK domain which already belongs to someone and is registered.

It is actually a pre-payment of a domain's registration in the case that its current owner decides not to or forgets to extend the registration and it expires. Our fully automated system will attempt to register it in the shortest time possible after it is omitted from the registration system, typically 0.1 to one second after its expiration. The concrete period of time depends on the availability and load of SK-NIC's network and servers.

Although the probability of registration of an expired domain is high, it is not hundred-percent guaranteed, as other entities may be interest in the registration, too. Within our system, our client has exclusivity, which means that we will not make the backorder of one domain possible to another client.

Pricelist

The Backorder fee is one-off and applies to an unlimited time until a potential successful registration of the desired domain. Backorder service provision begins by setting and monitoring of the first domain intended to capture. Following the desired domain's successful registration, the domain's registration period starts, the fee of which is already included in the price.

Backorder is a compound service combined with domain monitoring and possibility to set domain for backorder. After Backorder purchase you are buying all those services, so you start using such service immediately on the day of purchase. Therefor even if domain capture would not be successful, your credit still remains active, but it is not possible to process refund, because it is a compound service.
